There's a couple of people scattered across the arena, perhaps a few more than the other table, but it still looks virtually empty.

They only just finished their 3rd frame, Stevens leads 3-0. The last frame lasted just over an hour, a lot of it on the yellow, where Liang needed a snooker and got the penalty points when Stevens pocketed the black. After a safety battle, Liang got the chance, but missed an easy brown and then conceded.

I agree, played the wrong shot on that last pink. he was always pushing towards the pocket. Very hard shot to leave on the coushion from there

Very much so. I don't understand why more players do the old fashioned up-and-down shot, and stick the pink on the baulk cushion with the white on the bottom cushion.

Well there you go, the three frames that Trump won were one-visit frames, but he lost all the others. It's really tough to beat someone like Maguire when he's playing well, with only one weapon in your arsenal.

Talking about rankings, Stephen Hendry, if he doesn't pull his socks up in the next couple of tournaments, he will also be out of the top 16. He has a lot of points to defend in the next few tournaments. Hendry got to the Semis in Bahrain, and that's due to go in the next revision.
