I wouldn't call Mark Davis an easy qualifier He's dangerous and he can chock Maguire!

Well, I wouldn't exactly call him easy either, and that goes for Higginson as well.

But when I say dangerous, I mean the type of player top players would fear even if they're playing well. In this tournament, that would be (or was) Ebdon, Walden, and to some extent Trump and Gould as well.

I think Maguire played quite well against Trump, so I expect him to have enough against Davis as well. But looking from Davis', Higginson's and Burnett's perspective, the draw is quite open for them as well now, if only one of them could knock out Maguire.

Just heard that Ryan Day 3-5 lost to Higginson?? Is that true... If it's true, is Ryan Day going to drop out of top 16??

As things stand Day could salvage his top 16 place by winning EPTC2. However he also needs Ebdon, M Davis, Stevens, Lee and Cope to start losing early too.

He was struggling with the conditions. I think he's not the only one, though. But he also played quite well in patches. Didn't have the easiest first round draw either but Ricky, although looked pretty good early on, missed a few that one would've expected him to make, especially after the MSI.
