Jamie totally deserved this one after the clearence on the reds. The showed some great thinking with the holding of the yellow spot for the final red. And he potted a great pink under pressure. Well done!
Carter is the luckiest of them two....and its been like that all day.
"There has only ever been Alex Higgins, myself and now Ronnie O'sullivan who play the game the way it should be played with such excitement - I know the fans love it this way" - Jimmy White
Careless shot by Jamie Burnett. Left an obvious shot to nothing to Ali, when he had the entire table to place the cue ball. The worse shot of the tournament so far.
Well done to Ali, he was the best player in the tournament. But it has to be said that the entire tournament was played in very very low standard. I watched maybe 75% of the matches, but i don't remember that i saw a century. Perhaps UK will bring a higher standard of snooker (I deliberately missed the mutilated Grand Prix, called World Open these days)
Wow, there are more people in the presentation party, than in the audience
What do these chinese people want? They cant gather 1000 people in a ranking event final in a city of 20 000 000
I don't want to listen to stories about how popular is snooker in China. You can see that from this poor audience in Shanghai and Beijing.
