Thankfully we are not all robots so all play the game we see correct at the time, i enjoy watching Selby play, i think he has a great safety game and is better at getting out of snookers than anyone else. At this level, and especially in a final where Selby is chasing more elusive wins, i think he every right to play the game he sees fit, and if people cannot appreciate that, then you are not a true snooker fan. !

One thing about Williams having followed him since the start is he,s anything but a sour loser . A more gracious opponent in defeat you fill not find .

I can´t really see the Higgins Selby video showing anything about playing negative. Then you can just as well blame Higgins for playing into the pack instead of loosening the two reds.....its not called potting its called snooker. Quote: WildJONESEYE
"Its called snooker not potting" Quote: Rory McLeod

I would call a "true snooker fan" is someone who can appreciate all aspects of the game, from all out attacking non stop potting, to prolonged almost unbearably slow safety battles, all part of the game in my eyes. Safety battles have far more tension in them than someone going for a pot and missing, leaving the other player in to clean up and win the frame.

Being a big fan of Mark Williams since childhood, it pains me to hear about Williams losing his match because he let one controversial incident affected his playing. It's unusual to see that from him. Hopefully he'll come back stronger. I would kick a dog if he doesn't win at least 1 major ranking event this season.
