Haha, I fell asleep in front of the TV ( I always sleep like a baby in front of a good old slow snooker match), and all I have missed is one half frame with Davis and O'Brien.
Gunnell is really playing well this season. Came through qualifying beating Judd Trump and now looking set to beat Ali Carter. He does like China and is worth a bet to win his quarter especially as Ebdon is out.

5-2 to Ding .. look like an easy win for Ding tho it wasnt at all like that.
I liked the match on the whole.. except for the last frame maybe-there were to many mistakes on both sides , they missed a lot. Delu looks promising- plays fast, made few great long pots and a nice 75 clearance in the 5th frame. He still has a lot to learn and lacks experience..but..all in all i enjoyed his game.
Ding..well..not by far the 'perfect' player he was at the beginning of the prev. season - not the same 'perfect ' long pots, nor the 'perfect' control on the white ball, looked a bit careless to me , made easy mistakes ... Dunno exactly who is going to play against in the next round , but i cant see him getting to far in the tournament if he keeps playing like that..

Carter looks as good as out. My spidey senses tell me that it's more Gunnell in good form than Ali having a bad patch. He beat Jin Long similarly easily, and I think has made two century breaks.
EDIT: Just seen Alex's post. Great minds think alike, eh?
