I normally feel symphaty for players with temperament problems (Tony Drago, Michael Holt), because they are trying hard to perform, and you can see that they are suffering the most because of their mistakes, but I can't feel sorry for Ding in any way as he just doesn't care.
As someone stated before he really needs to get a psychologist if he wants to achieve anything in snooker.
I don't really care for Ding either, although Dott isn't all that great too.
It's not going very well for Hendry unfortunately, but to be honest, I don't really care that much since John Higgins is already out of the tournament. =( Too bad.
"Idiot"
"Spoilt brat"
All these terms applying to Ding. What are you doing, folks, recycling your Ronnie-insults? Isn't any tournament complete without the odd derogatory spiel?
Ding needs a psychologist, in my opinion. Not a sports pyschologist but a regular one, since he couldn't have done what he did - namely the deliberate foul - if everything were fine with him. He's been a pro for more than 3 years so she should know better.
It seems that the home-crowd pressure has been too much for him and it's a sad thing to witness.
