Not the way he is playing! Would have lost to any other top 16 member in the first round the way he played and had an awful amount of luck in knocking out Pettman. I am surprised Stevens is second favourite and Selby is favourite! May have a pound on Harold.

I'm very surprised to see so many big names go out of the tournament, funny old game snooker.
Well done Matthew I hope he keeps playing well and gets back into the top 16, you all know he's my fav. Good luck Matthew.

not really thinking about how they are playing just looking at the odds !! - i think either ryan day, matthew or dom will win - have a good feeling about the welsh boys in general!
no, i am sure mine would be ok with it aswell, because you have said " its just a few quid" when she finds out the size of the bet you will be waking up with your goolies in a jar by the bedside!
snooker as a tour is practically finished - theres no money in it - tourneys are months apart - mostly all first to 5 shoot outs! Therefore time and time again the rubbish comes through - never mind the standard is higher ---- it's nonsense! The top players are generally playing at a lower, more inconcistent level and are playing for less money months apart! Im just p1ssed off Hendry got pumped - something sadly that im beginning to get more and more used to! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Nail on head!
In fact snooker in this country is practically finished. Well, give it a few years but it will happen eventually. Up and down the country most snooker clubs have seen falling numbers in people playing the game, now with the smoking ban and expensive prices people just aren't interested anymore.
Make the most of the game in this country now because it will soon be an Asian based sport with the professional tour taken over there where there is money and interest to keep the game going.
One advantage, tickets for The Crucible will be much easier!
BTW I got back from a holiday, so not totally into this tournament!
(As my first round score showed )

I agree snooker is on the decline in a big way, but i dont think theres that much interest in china also after watching today with about 9 spectators sitting there..
