snooker has been in decline since about 86 but i actually think world wide its growing and this year looks best for a while - have you seen how many snooker tables there are now in china plus its growing in oz etc.. - considering the ciggy money has gone its done well i think.

Edit: One question to you living in the uk; which sport is it that is stealing the thunder from snooker? Or is snooke losing it's appeal all by itself?

Looking at that line-up, I think Stevens is different class. Selbys got a lot to do yet to go in favourite against Stevens.
4-1 is a good price for the classiest player left in.

He might of been the classiest player against these players a couple of years ago! but i wouldnt have much confidence putting money on him at these odds now..

Credit to him he has played very well this tournament up to now and if he does go on to win it i dont think there will be a more popular winner!

No worries... The bookies will of stopped betting on this in the shops at 9am tomorrow morning, as the matches start 7am uk time..so ive opened an internet account with stan james and placed a big wager on selby at 9/4..still good odds in my book
