Tomorrow the first semi final could be real cracker, anybody have H2H stats between Selby and Dale? Also Dott and Day? I think Dott and Dale will progress and Dale might win this final after all. Dale has all too easy opponents, I think this is the first REAL TEST for him

What about Doherty? He is always a test no matter who you are.

Selby won all the frames today, IMO Selby has more quality if it comes to end the frame and I think he will play better, because this is a semifinal. Doherty wasn't a test, simply because he has lost to much weaker opponents already than Dale and I think he was just out of form. I think the first semifinal is a real cracker, but I gotta fancy Selby to come through in the end. I'd go for over 9,5 frames.

lol on those odds it might be worth a few quid on a ryan day v dominic dale final - which would be interesting because they practice together! - i am suprised the odds would be so stacked in favour of dott and selby in what is in fact a 4 horse race!

Morning all

The first frame has been going a bit back and forth, neither settling properly, both making a few errors after relatively small breaks.

Once more we're down to the colours to decide the frame, with Mark at 47 and Dom at 39. After a bit of back and forth, Dom takes the frame (two lovely long pots).

I hope for Dom's sake that blondes DO have more fun, because it looks silly!

Funny little incident there, with Mark knocking the one red ball over the one pocket, the white over the other and Dom trying to swerve around to pot the red... sadly missing. And letting Mark in again, who is just finished with his 9 break to let Dom in again. Dom went in-off, though. At least they seem equally not quite awake yet.
