    As usual it largely dependds on Ronnie IMO; and if he is interested in taking this one seriously or not.

    If he is, he's favourite. However, if all he wants to do is play kamikaze style snooker, and get the matches over as quickly as possible, or some other form of messing around (as he has done in the overseas eventrs recently if he turned up atall) he's not favourite, although he may well still win a few rounds playing the fool.

    I think he's starting to care about his 'legacy' now, and may be taking every chance to add to his title haul !

                      I have a feeling that this could be Carters first ranking tournament win, but as he has to meet ROS on the way, I´m contradicting what I´ve said less than a month ago. My predictions usually go wrong anyway.

                            Barry Hawkins is a great each way bet if anyone fancies a flutter. he's playing really well and at 50/1 maybe 66/1. he is a more than capable tournament winner and has a had a good start to the season.
