Jimmy played pretty good i would say, he didnt missed easy shots, except in one or 2 occassions, he lost position a few times, but in the end it was solid snooker, a century and 4 50+ breaks in 5 frames....quite good i would say...."There has only ever been Alex Higgins, myself and now Ronnie O'sullivan who play the game the way it should be played with such excitement - I know the fans love it this way" - Jimmy WhiteComment

Not much players are capable of doing 5 50+ breaks so far in this start of the season. That's quite decent actually. Happy for him.

I thought people were overreacting when he fell from 8th to 34th in the rankings but then he continued to drop sharply. Six months ago I didn't think we'd ever see him in a televised ranking match again. Great to see him back doing himself justice and scoring well.Comment
