Eurosport HD/Eurosport 1 are showing White v Guodong, then Wenbo v Mahitthi, both live from the start.

Both matches are great prospects, Wenbo has played really well lately and White, well just to see him on the TV playing proper tournament snooker will be a treat. It's not often you look forward to a wildcard round as much as this time!

Don't forget to programme your alarm clock and/or TV recorder!

If China were closer to the UK I wouldn't have to get up so early.

But also that it's going to be a tough test for Jimmy. Guodong is probably the strongest of the wildcards and will be up for the match in front of a home crowd. Jimmy for all his success at Pontin's lately hasn't won a match at a venue for a long time. I'd like to think Jimmy's been over there for a few days getting himself ready and accustomed but that just doesn't seem like his style. I would expect the other pros to come through fairly easily though.

does anyone whos living outside Europe/UK have a stream that works?, all the eurosport sites i try tell me its not avalible in my country.

Also I downloaded TVU player but cant get a strong enough signal for shanghai sports to work, CCTV-5 is working perfect though so at least im sorted for the china open
