Yes, his opponent played well...but he is ranked 35th in the official ranking...so.....it looks like pontins next year.....

    • Hardly

Walden has beaten Higgins twice and, but for a kick, would have beaten O'Sullivan at the Uk a couple of years ago

      He's a very good player

Maybe...but the results so far are unconvincing to say the least....1-5 against Lee, 1-5 against Selby and now Walden.....i stick to my opinion....it looks like pontins...

        • It´s Ding (9) Harold live.
With all due respect to Dave Harold, this is not the match I got up so early (for me ) to watch.
Robbo's potting is so good he doesn't need to bother with positional play like the rest of the players. He laughs in the face of those who spend hours on the practice table perfecting their cue ball control! ~ Forman

Considering the streaming speed of yesterday, all we will see is Harold standing motionsless never finishing his shot.

            • Hendry will be ok for one more season I think, but it wouldn't surprise me to see him drop out of the 16 for 2010-11.

GSC seems to be having a bit of trouble with scores this morning so I'll update them on my blog for now...

EDIT: Will stop now as GSC is sorted.

Dave playing well again while Ding looks out of sorts again.

Well according to his post-match Hendry wasn't happy with his own game. Now some of those boys are tough on themselves ...

The fact that he's 35 means what? He's still young. All of top 16 have been ranked lower before getting there.

                • Hendry didn't play dreadfully but he was too inconsistent. He had frames like the opener, the fifth and the clearance at 3-4 where he looked really good, but in the rest he missed some poor shots and generally presented Walden with chances that he couldn't miss.

Basically looks good in the balls and capable of scoring, but struggled to actually create an opening unless Walden gifted him one. Also looked dodgy when faced with any shot that was less than straightforward.

                  • Ding looks dreadful so far, Harold really needs to take this frame while he has the momentum.

GSC is up and running with the scores now which is good.

                      • Scrappy frame, but Harold takes it in the end, 2:0 for him.

If he wins he will play Davis in the next round, that could be an endless match...

I would, if I could make the godamn link work. And it´s exactly Carter - Williams match I want to see.

Except with different winner, I suppose.

ETA: Maybe you could provide little bit of feedback on them?

                          • Is it possible to get a direct link to the Williams-Carter match? Just to try...
I'd also rather watch that one, but it doesn't work for me either...
