  • Cope looks in fantastic form when in first but every time Williams has handed him a golden chance Jamie has given it right back. Williams is still struggling with the slow pace of the table and has missed a few howlers, but he's scoring in bits and pieces and it's proving enough for a 4-2 lead.

If Cope starts taking all the chances he's getting (even when there's no maximum on) he could and should win this match.

    • Ronnie is about to snatch the sixth frame and possibly break the ref´s wrist with a red.
Revenge for the warning two frame ago, perhaps?
Robbo's potting is so good he doesn't need to bother with positional play like the rest of the players. He laughs in the face of those who spend hours on the practice table perfecting their cue ball control! ~ Forman

            • Mark Williams is through. Won the match 5-2.

Jamie Cope really needs to review his shot selection as it's clearly not helping him winning matches.

              • Cope now needs snookers to stay in the match. He did have a good chance to come back in this frame after Williams left him right in, but again couldn't score from it.

Very poor safety from Cope leaves Williams a long yellow - and he gets it to seal the match. 5-2. Scoreline could easily have been reversed, but that's it, and I must say it's good to have Mark in the quarters again.

YAY! So happy for Mark. Mon Ronnie!
A Williams-O'Sullivan QF... would be soooo great.

                    • Perry takes a frame back. By my opinion he should be one frame up, but he hasn´t capitalised from O´Sullivan not beeing up to his best standard.

                      • For some reason Cope seems to keep going for stupid shots, and big breaks which ultimately loses him a big percentage of matches. Even though Williams was playing half-decent, he should of had this one...
I love the game of snooker :) (even though my mates think that its just a load of balls :D )

                        • and ronnie hasnt played near his best of this be 5-0

Perry has played awful aside from 1 or 2 good breaks, but when it comes to making the chance he has been woeful.

On other hand, ronnie has made the chances and then blown them...

                          • Ronnie looks mad, I wonder if it´s his game or the warning getting to his head.

                            • Forget swearing, if frames could be lost due to a "looking bothered to be here" attitude, Ronnie wouldn´t win a single match.
Hopefully Joe can level it to 4-4 to give us more drama.

                              • That was a good chance for Joseph, but Ronnie is back at the table :snooker:

Ronnie misses a mid distanced red and Joseph is back in. Good chance this to win the frame.

Joseph misses a relatively easy black and Ronnie is back in. Can he convert at last?

No, he can't. Two reds left but neither on. Another tactical battle coming up.

Joseph back in after a foul. He should win the frame from here.

Joseph misses the long green and now a chance for frame and match for Ronnie

Not great position on the black, but Ronnie thumps it into the opposite far corner as if he couldn't wait for the match to be over
