      Wow!
      I've just watched Jamie's vid.
I have yet to make a 147 myself - but I'm still trying... I just need...

WELL, poke my eyes out with those shoes!

Those pointy boots that seem to walk him around the table... I want a pair!

      =o)

I was asking how long it took because Cope is probably one of the fastest players on the Tour. He made the 147 in just under 9 minutes, for comparison Thorburn made his in 10 and a half minutes roughly, so maybe he wasn't that slow after all. Anyway, I won't be surprised if Jamie is going to make a few more maximums in his carreer, he does make a lot in practice.

saw it life since the chinese stream was up again, and seriously, cause he was so unlucky in frame one and two, I just wanted to see him take the frame, so it took me ages to really register in my head that he was on a maximum.
          was a nice one though

it's a shame he went down so badly afterwards, from frame 6 on nothing much was working anymore, probably the mid session didn't do him too much good.

I remember him saying that "hitting maximums in practice isn't that difficult, being in front of a crowd makes it a bit harder" ... call that a lax attitude towards a 147 ... just can't recall where he said it, was an interview with the bbc, it's still somewhere online.

anyway, well done, next time, take the maximum AND the match jamie

Cant believe he still lost, but at least he has 20,000 to show for, if no one else made it. ROS will be trying to make one I am sure. He tried earlier I think, or was it someone else?

Williams vs Sullivan, all guns blazing. Yeah...

I am gonna go watch it

Pity that just cost me a nice bonus on contest

              But... well done cope

Such a pity it musta got to him. 147 doesnt always equal success in the match

But unlike the match it will be remembered longer!

I believe he can get that car displayed in the arena, which is made in China by the title sponsor.

You know what, I feel that he was shooting even faster than ROS. May be ROS walked faster around the table and took lesser time as he approached the table, but shooting speed wise, almost every shot was shot with only one feather by Cope, pretty amazing.

His body moved so much on the pink, pretty colorful player to watch.

Jamie Cope is also the only one who has made a 155, and is the second player who has made 2 147 in ranking events. First one is Steve Maguire.

It was a great 147! I just saw it on some chinese site.

He lost a frame after making a 72 break? unlucky!

You can watch the maximum on youtube. It was briliant. He never gone out of position.

What do you mean by the second part. ROS has made 9, Hendry 8, Higgins 5, Wattana 3, Ebdon and Nick Dyson 2.

The most of Ronnies, Hendrys and Higgins are made in ranking tournaments, so I still don´t understand what you are saying.
