  • Shanghai Masters Quarter-finals discussion

Davis took the first frame with good ( and some not so good ) safetyes. Second frame went to re-rack quite soon. Does anybody know how Davis would have to play to get back to top 16? A couple of semi-finals should do it ? Not that I believ that actually happening, hoping though

Uh, right, we are actually in the quarter final already and need another thread... didn't realize that

I can't see the Davis-Walden match, but both don't seem to be able to get on any kind of break....
The Selby-Fu live ticker looks more interesting

Davis made 40+ brake in the first frame, but I don't mind tactical batlle. One or two frame winnig brakes for Davis would be nice though

Well, Davis making no big breaks is no surprise , but Walden? Anyway, I want Steve to win, I don't really mind HOW

I also like tactial battles, but not if I can't see them...

Walden's 53 brake was biggest so far. Thank god live tiker works, Shanghai sports goes on and off all the time and buffering a lot too. Quite fun to watch Steve's facial expressions when the prodcast gets stuck

the ticker might do, but the match... NAH... ^^ I'm suffering here. I hope Selby's waking up during mid session interval, other than that he'll simply go home in about an hour.

I like Selby and Fu, and usually I wouldn't mind who wins, but with Fu as my lucky dip... Go Marco!

It is such a pitty that the coverage for this is so bad, the line up of the quarter finals is quite interesting, no match I wouldn't want to see at all...

                absolutely
I'm really happy the chinese stream is running really smoothly for me right now *touches wood*
Well, for Fu vs. Selby, I'm a bit biased there... so. Well, if Selby goes on playing as he does he just doesn't deserve to go on, then kudos to Marco and that's it. But I'll keep up faith until the last ball is potted

Atleast with the two of us here, all four players got their support... yours for Fu and Davis, mine for Selby and Walden. All covered there

Who'd be your choice this afternoon? Mine would be Day and Williams.

Davis is playing extremly defensive as if he doesn´t believe in his own potting. Avoiding a quite forward red with good opportunies to get a colour on and taking the safety instead.

I second that, so Maguire and O'Sullivan have to find some other supporters in the thread... not too difficult

I just don't want to see O'Sullivan in a final AGAIN... and Williams needs the points.

a bit too tactical at the start of the frame. Now Walden has got all the reds open looks like it's going 2-2. Changhai tv is a bit late compared to live tiker. Oh, the ticker seems to be frozen Now it is 2-2
