So here we go for the 3rd uninteresting final in a row. Ali Carter, Harold and now Walden. ZzZzZz
So when's the Grand Prix starting?
It's fair to say he has been lucky in the draw in these three tournaments until meeting Maguire, when Ronnie needed to and did up his game. I don't think Maguire would have lost if he had played how he did in the early matches or as he did in NIT. (not Ronnie's fault of course that players haven't taken their chances) I think Selby has the game to frustrate Ronnie, but he didn't capitalise when he should have done today.
I'd be surprised if Walden gets close tomorrow, but you never know.
A 145 in the decider, not many players are capable of doing that.. I hope it will be a close final tomorrow.
yep... Great way to win a match . Fantastic snooker display from both players, hope the final will be just as thrilling.
Mon Ronnie!:snooker:

Everythng is going so well today! Ronnie's through to the final (on his way to a third consective title hopefully) and West Brom are 1-0 up. Everything is going nicely so far today .
lol did anyone else hear Jan Ver Haas after the match, telling the official that he completely missed it when Ronnie went into the pack and potted a red in the far corner!!
What the ****? The crowd applauding when Maguire mis hit a red? What a bunch of retards.
Sadly it seems that the atmosphere in Shanghai is (almost) as partisan as the one at Wembley. Not Ronnie's fault but still disturbing. Just as annoying as the interviewer's tactless questions directed at Joe Perry.
One thing about the Chinese commentators: I looove their enthusiasm. Really do. It's genuine; they are indeed enjoying the match they're commenting and it's lovely.
They could keep quiet for a bit longer, though.
Verhaas missed it when Ronnie potted a red with his black? Wow.
And great match. Loved it. Tense and beautiful, especially after the interval.

I remember watching Ricky Walden against Ronnie a few years ago at York, in the early stages of the UK Championship. It was the first time that I'd seen Walden play and I was impressed! He was leading something like 8-6 or 8-7 but Ronnie came back and edged him out 9-8. So it's not guaranteed to be a one-sided affair tomorrow, although I wouldn't back against it...
