Since I woke up at an ungodly hour, a few things about the first session of the final.
Generally speaking, mistakes (positional losses, misses, less than perfect safeties) were punished by both players. The run of the ball seemed to be slightly in Walden's favour, especially during the first four frames. Then, presented with the chance to make it 4-1, he missed a hard blue with the white tight on the cushion and about 25 minutes later it was 4-3 to Ronnie.
When it looked like 5-3, an error allowed Walden back and he duly took his chance to level at 4.
Both are playing well and taking their chances decently. Walden's breakbuilding and safety are there and I must say I was quite surprised, given it's his first final and all. Think Ronnie was, too.
One-frame cush for Ronnie. Match is far from a march to the title and I can't see any of them break away in the second session.S.P.I.L.F.

We have a match on and Ronnie needs to step up seriously if (doh!) he wants to win. Walden is not there just to make up the numbers, although he faltered after missing the chance to go 4-1 up.
I've seen some great safeties from both players, too.
Quite decent final. Worth watching.
And I've discovered why my TVU Player broke off so often last night:darn YM. So no more match commenting with mates during the second session; it's worked excellently this morning.S.P.I.L.F.

for me no one to talk about the match is online anyway... I'd do it in the forum but you miss so much while posting here... with messengers it's easier since you can arrange the windows neatly next to each other and go on watching while typing ^^
and yeah, I had some troubles with TVU when I first used it yesterday, it kept shutting down for now apparent reason, but after I reconnected for what felt like the 1307450840 time, it gave up and since then it's stable *touches wood*
and, personally I wouldn't mind Ricky winning that... I mean. It was Dale last year, why not Walden this year... as a friend of mine said: China Tournaments don't seem to care about the rules of nature anyway... ^^"It's a massive achievement getting to the world final, but all I did was winning four snooker matches." This morning it worked well for me too.
As for the final..its been great to watch so far... Walden seems pretty confident , not nervous at all considering its his fist final. TBH i didnt thought hed be like that. Guess ROS isnt that surprised tho, he said in a post match interview that hes aware of young players ambition and hunger to win and they're potting well so he kinda expected Ricky to give him a hard time. Wont be easy to put some pressure on him, plus prev matches proved that Ricky can focus just fine when under pressure ...
But in the past 2 finals he played Ronnie's second sessions have been good ..so mon the Rocket!"I just want to live for the moment.Tomorrow's not important, next month is not important, what's happened in the past is not important. That's my journey... and I like the journey i'm on!" R.O'Sullivan

A few kicks I remember myself; two major ones were Ronnie's.
