      Walden wins 10 - 8.

Bit of a joke really, the guy has never even played at the crucible and he has beaten Davis, Robertson, Selby, Hendry and Ronnie!!

I bet he never wins another title!

Walden did well to win his first ranking title, I hope we will see more of him later in the season. Ronnie just lost his way somewhere, maybe the bad rolls/kicks got to him, plus he was completely outplayed by Walden in the safety department.

A bit of a joke? C'mon give the man the credit he deserves instead of just putting him down.

Out of interest, why is the arena at Shanghai half-full? I thought snooker was one of the most popular sports in China? Admittedly, probably 100 million people or so are watching it on TV, but you'd never get such an empty arena in the Final in a BBC event.

I think you misunderstood something there, lagermike was actually praising Ricky.

                    Well, you just saw it.

Well done Ricky Played the better snooker, had the beter run of the balls, ronnie lost a bit of discipline but well deserved win Ricky

Ronnie is still the best and he is well on course to keep WN1

I think he will be up for Grand prix more

Receiving the prize for the 147 on behalf of Jamie Cope is... Sir Rodney Walker!

This win is well deserved and just shows the standard lower down the ranks. Ricky has been on the verge of a breakthrough for some time and i hope we see him in the latter stages of future events this season.

                            Ricky fully deserved to win.

                            Well done Ricky.

Well done Ricky! There isn't anything else to say: great result and well deserved.

I watched him play in the Belgian Open and if he keep this level of form we will see more of him. Don't be mistaken.
