Very impressive. He's building on last season's good run. Nice!

White is playing well, 3-3 with Mark Davis at the moment. Be very impressed if he can win that as Mark is no mug.

Mathew Selt is really making progress in confidence and if he can beat michie he plays Steve Davis....that will be a test for him but i think he is with a great chance of getting to his first venue and a match against Proberbly a wild card before a meeting with the World Champion John Higgins.

Yeah this is his third spell on the tour now. Good player, gave Ricky Walden a tough game the other day before going down 4-3.

Going well for Selt so far, 3-0 up.

Will be a close one, didn't think that he would beat Hicks yesterday to be honest, very good win that.

Sangnil is doing well but for me he has had a pretty good draw. Wattana who isn't the player he once was, Roe who won two matches all season in 2008/9 and now Gunnell who hasn't won since last December. Be interesting to see how he gets on against some of the more in form players.

He's never recovered from getting into the top 16 and still having to qualify for all the events really. Shame as he was producing some good stuff back around 2003-5.

Ian Mcculloch losing 1-5 is such a bitter blow. He is a player I always thought would break into the top 16 and stay there but then I thought Stevens would too and Williams. I wonder how much his injury played a part?
