It's interesting to see how T. Drago will do. Judd Trump waiting for him in the last round so a slim chance for T to get to the venue, I think. Even if he gets past the others, Marcus Campbell will also be hard to beat. Tough start for a comeback.

Tough draw for new Manchester player Craig Steadman - Milkins, Hamilton & Cope

Wasnt expecting him to make any venues straight away, but I think its certain he wont make it this time !

Yes i agree, as much as i would like to see Tony do well i think he's going to struggle here...even with his (vast experience) i dont feel it's going to be enough against the young opposition of today.

Though on his day he's still capable of playing some pretty decent stuff when he feels like it, so who's knows he could surprise us all. Fingers crossed eh.

To be fair he would do well to beat Li Hang in the first round, not an easy first match at all.

he has beaten milkins 5-1 and 4-0 the only two times they have played and has beaten cope 3 out of the 4 times they have played so he is optimistic, yes its a tough draw but he is under no pressure as he is not expected to qualify ,,,but it would not surprise me if he did

Isn't it about the time we have Shanghai Masters 2009 tournament section? The qualifiers start in a couple of hours! For those who can't watch it live on www.110sport.tv, here is worldsnooker livescores with multiple screens on one page for our convenience http://www.thesnookerforum.com/rob/T...rnament=0910sm (thanks to Robert602!)

I am hoping that Sam Baird does well this season. He is a new professional from my area and from my local association so I will be keeping an eye on his matches.

Already 1-0 to Tony Drago in no time... at least on worldsnooker scoring

2-0 already. something interesting going on... Li Hang late for the match, or something different?

Yeah could be. Good news for Tony Drago though.

walkover for Tony, even Tony isn't that quick!

Li Hang and Mei Xiwen haven't had their visas through yet.

although the cynical amongst us might expect to see them pop up again as wildcards!!

Li Hang was on tour last season wasnt he?

seems a bit unfair them missing out, could harm their place on tour and li hang for one i see a big future for.
