I'd definately make him favourite against Gray or Haneveer. I think his head to head against Higginson last season was 50:50 and his chances of winning again should they meet again would be the same. Admittedly Harold would be a tough nut for him to crack if he gets that far. Though if Jimmy really finds some form he could do it.

His draw could be much harder though IMO.

Very interested to see how the Guodong/Un-nooh clash finishes up.

Not a nice path for White I agree but otherwise it seems fairly well-balanced and evenly matched. Can see a lot of very close matches there.

Incidentally I have been experimenting with a draw sheet format here for ranking events on my site, has anyone got any thoughts/feedback for me? PM me if you don't want to send the thread off-topic, cheers.

Nice draw for Dott too but would prefer it if he didn't get Pinches given his record.

If Gray gets through i think it will be quite a tough match for Jimmy and could go either way. If Haneveer beats Gray i would say Jimmy would stand a better chance of getting through to the next round, but still may find it a struggle..

Fergal's season last year was as bad as his though so it should be a close game if he gets that far.
