Well he's there in China, isn't he, not cosy at home? So what's the point to "fake" an injury, if that's what you imply? He was seen and treated by a chinese doctor, not his own personal doctor and if anything this just hints at the fact that former back problems he complained about were no fakes neither.

And even if he was unable to play properly, he would not be flying home soon probably because he's due to do promotional work in that fair in Shanghai.
