            • 2 consecutive losses on an accumulator on one player. Dale this time lets me down - Bond needed about three snookers as well. Dale also lost a respotted black, the decider on the pink and another on the black. Gutted!, but credit to Bond for staying in and battling in the decider.

                        • With every single winner of the Shanghai Masters ranked outside the top 32 could we have seen this years winner playing today?

                          Although I can't see the winner coming from Campbell, Gilbert, Higginson or Selt but perhaps Doherty.
