Go Go Go! Marco Fu! But I have a feeling he's not going to get past Bond. =(. Sadly, Marco will underestimate his opponent as usual when he's against a much lower ranked player. If Marco does win it will be a 5-4 narrow win and if he does win, he will make a shock inconsistent thrashing of a well established player.
After he will get to the Semi-Finals and lose by a large margin to another established player
Well, I don't know about you but I think Mark King will win a close one with Walden. I don't think Walden, as defending Champion can get through to the second round. If King can beat Selby, he can beat anybody.

LOL. Sorry - it's just that's he's defending Champion and he usually gets to go out in the earlier rounds with a big disappointment. Only Higgins, Selby and O'Sullivan at the moment, in my opinion, are capable of beating the odds of redefending.

lol. We'll see. I'll put up a friendly bet on it. And yes, Noel - Selby did well to get to the final of the Masters but what I mean to say is that currently, Higgins, O'Sullivan and Selby are the only ones who are capable of beating the odds to reach a final when defending a title.
I don't think Walden has the experience yet. For the record, I rate Selby a lot higher than Murphy as I think he can go further than Murphy can ever go.

IMHO neither Murphy nor Selby are in the same league as Higgins and O'Sullivan.
Walden KNOWS he can win it because he did!
That confidence plus his improving skill is a HUGE advantage over King.

=o)
Noel
A person who knows that he's on the verge of dropping out the Top 16 by next season? That might inspire him to play better but I do agree, Walden's confidence is a huge advantage which is why I'm putting him to lose by 5 frames to 4. Also, although Murphy and Selby are no where near O'Sullivan and Higgins league, I rate Selby as being the closest possible at the moment or whom could eventually be held in the same esteem as them and in my opinion, not even Murphy as Current UK Champion or former Champion (plus former World finalist) can surpass him. For all intent and purposes, Murphy will come behind Selby.
