Ok, after having pondered this whilst peeling the spuds for dinner, here's a question for as many of the pros / refs / others you happen to interview:

What's your favourite tournament memory that doesn't involve winning it (or a match / frame)?

And if you could ask John Higgins about future plans and hopes for the WSS, that would be great. I know there's one in Prague in October, but are there other plans? As for arranging these events - is it harder or easier than originally thought and would he (and the others involved) have set out doing it if they knew then what they know now? I'm sure he gets asked this a lot, but I very much enjoyed the two WSS events I've been to and would like to go to more!

Oh, and I think the world needs to know whether or not Tiptree is Ali Carter's favourite jam/marmalade. And how he felt about being promoted as Alison Carter in Austria.

This is getting silly, I think I'll go do the dishes now

Thanks ferret, I have thought of a better question, again to ask John Higgins.

Why do you think World Snooker are so reluctant to work with outside promotors (for example, in Europe)?

Ricky Walden: Who do you think that could have the upper hand in your next match? You as the defending champion or Stephen Hendry after his fabulous comeback?

Stephen Lee: Lately we barely get to see you in TV stages, do you think this is just a bad phase and you still have what it takes to win ranking tournaments?

          To all the players,

Do you HATE watching yourself on tv and if so why?

I only ask this because i know if i was a pro and playing regulary on tv that i would..

            Ricky,

If you could only win one tournament this season, would you rather retain the Shanghai Masters or win a different event for the first time?

            John,

Which of your World Championship titles felt better - your 2nd or 3rd?

Spike .... you never fail to remind me of stuff... and I don't want to go off topic [ except for this little observation ]...

Who of us hasn't seen Ronnie at the black end of the table [ where else? ] prowling around, wearing a U-shaped trough into the carpet hunting for pots to each corner. Now, whenever he walks past the black spot he invariably looks back and up and away from the table as he passes.
I originally thought he did that to check the score on the monitor, but he glances up even if he's only potted 1 black. What's with that?!?
Is he checking the score? Is he checking himself out on TV to see whether or not his hair or tie is awry?

Maybe he just likes and uses TV?

              =o\

Could you ask Ricky what specifically it is, that makes him raise his game in the Asian events?

A non-topical question for John Higgins if you get a chance.

As a young lad, did he used to play in Reardon's in downtown Glasgow? (I used to practice there with John Rae and Jimmy MacNellan and I remember a young lad named John who used to come in and this John was an excellent player even then, around the age of 13 or so - I'm guessing)

                      To any/all of the pro's:

If you could give the average club player one piece of advice, what would it be?? (and don't say keep practicing )
