Well done, Liang, for the final and for adding a bit of safety play to his game. And quite a good bit, too.

    Am really pleased.
His discipline was indeed key to his success this week

Someone wrote a comment on the prosnooker blog a couple of days ago, possibly even before Ronnie's first round match against Dott. They said that he would win in Shanghai, lose the Prem League and win in Sheff.
Now I'm scared. And a bit delighted at the same time.

I bet the tournament tables are more scared

            Definitely.

Another thing I noticed [ and posted about previously ] in Ronnie's PL as well Shanghai play
was the Left Hand / Right Hand Effect.
Last season he too often [ in between brilliant tons and maxes ] would "pull a Hendry"
missing total sitters due to lack of concentration.
By randomly alternating hands [ not just to avoid using the rest ] he seems to jolt his head out of complacency
back into reality = ball goes into bag.

            Rock On Rocket!

If this technique continues to re-stimulate ROS he could have the kind of year his opponents will want to forget.

            =o)

It wasn't Jamie Burnett's bookmaker was it?
