It's amazing there is any doubt at all, because we are in the 12th frame of the session. 12 frames in four and a half hours is not bad at all, especially for Ebdon.

25 minutes per frame is acceptable, I'd say. First session was way more uglier than that, so we should settle for this.
All the way Mark J!!

At this point, let me congratulate our Chinese friends for the first midnight finish of the year. I hope there is someone like me out there who actually enjoys midnight snooker.
As for us Europeans, I'm sure we'll get it at the Crucible.

I fancy those finishes particularly because the audience reacts to midnight finishes in a great way (=
How outrageous it was to take that red down the cushion! Ebdon is a brave man, that's for sure.

Maguire will certainly find it mystifying if he ends up losing his second final this season although playing with some real determination.
Ebdon will be greatly disappointed.
Good frame coming up.

Yeah I'd love to see Maguire win it, he's really been playing so well this year. Also for keeping his concentration and focus in this particular match. But...'may the best man win' as they say. It's been one of those epic finals again...all the way untill the very last frame.
