Thanks montoya10, it's on Eurosport now, so might as well watch it. Followed by Murphy-Lu before I go to bed.

      • Does O'S use a mini butt extension? 2 straight frames he doesn't use one when he prob should, didn't cost him frame 2 when he missed the brown but did in the 3rd.

        • Very interesting match so far. No one is roaming around, but MJW simply didn't take his chances as well as he should have been.
          All the way Mark J!!

          • It's not exactly been great stuff so far. O'Sullivan has given Williams quite a few gifts, but Williams has wasted most of them, not looking good at all. O'Sullivan has played some good safety and got in a couple of times from distance, but then missed easy pots himself. I don't think either player will be winning the tournament playing like this. As for the match, I think O'Sullivan is a big favourite from here.

            • Really.. How many more times should I be disappointed to quit watching snooker?
Never mind. WC should be my grand finale.

              • Good clearance from O'Sullivan in the last frame. I bet he will be hoping it's Maguire next.

What a disappointing performance from Williams again, he did his best Carter impression. He lost early in all three overseas events of 2012. And unless O'Sullivan draws a dangerous qualifier at the WC, Williams will be going home after the 2nd round again.

I'm hoping for better snooker this afternoon. In fact, I am certain it will be great snooker, it's just a matter of deciding which match to watch.

                • Williams just looks so average at times (as much as I love the guy). Can't believe he's number 2 in the world. Makes you wonder if the standard really is getting higher...

Hopefully Hendry can pull off a win. Would be nice to see him back in the top 16 at some stage.

                  • I am also Big Fan of Mark Williams and I cannot beleive he hasnt beaten Ronnie in 10yrs! He can beat anybody on his Day but seems he cannot beat Ronnie.

I gotta say I think its the way he plays Ronnie very Open Games and as much as I hate to say it he Must Twitch alot as he Missed more Balls today than I would!

He had plenty of Chances but didnt take them, I wouldnt say the Standard is Dropping at all its just when your Playing Ronnie you gotta take your Chances which Mark didnt today.

When he plays Ronnie it just seems to me he isnt interested so much? Why I dont know as he is playing the Best Player in the World so you shouldnt need anymore motovation than that Surely! I dont Care if Ronnie is 16th in World that isnt the True Place for him and we all know it if he turns up with his A Game or maybe his B Game sometimes he will win Tourny!

                    Gaz.

                    • From everyone's performances so far, who you all think looks good for the final?

                      Judd v Ronnie?

I'd like to see a Judd v Hendry final or Ronnie v Hendry

Mark's been out of sorts since Shanghai. Inconsistent, careless. It's disappointing after such a good last season and good start to this season. I can't see him getting better to this year's WC as it's so near and again it's most likely Ronnie in the second round.

                            • u can tell Carter needs these points hes the player most in danger if he loses in the first round of the worlds in fact I think as it stands hes the only one who drops out of the sixteen if he loses his first round match automatically
