That was an excellent break by Ebdon, all three big colours tied up, but he got past snookers required in one visit. He is back in control now.

Excellent frame to win for Maguire, as Ebdon was in control right until the end. Ebdon had pretty much won all of the scrappy frames before this one, so it will be interesting to see if the momentum can shift in Maguire's favour now. He would need the next frame as well though.

Well played Maguire, he has given himself a good chance now. He is not coming back against a Cope or a Woollaston though, Peter Ebdon is extremely unlikely to throw the match away. Maguire will just need to keep taking his chances and win with the kind of game that got him here in the first place.

This is finally developing into a high quality match now. Another big break from Maguire to pull back to 5-7. If he could just get within a frame of Ebdon, he would really put the pressure on.

perfectly normal and understandable. The superbikes is live and takes much less than snooker. What do you expect to have snooker all day? Only in snooker we have matches which takes so much. I understand they can't put live the entire final because it is not snooker channell.

What should be noted is the cracking final pink Ebdon potted after the frame was won.
