Well, extra motivation is there, but it's more about Murphy, someone could be considered from the same generation with Maguire himself, doing a lot more in the majors, I suppose.
If he keeps this sort of battling character, he may reach the business end of the World Championship once more this season. There is no reason to point out why he can't.

I think Maguire has improved temperament wise lately, he's not kicking himself (or his cue) so badly when things aren't going his way. Tonight, though, things are going his way beautifully. If he'd always play like in this tournament he'd be very very hard to beat.
