Yeah, extremely stupid shot. It was always going to be over the pocket if he missed it, and it gave O'Sullivan the chance to develop two safe reds in one shot. If he was at his best, he would have cleared up right there and then.

Not sure how this match is going to go now. I still think Maguire has more firepower on the day, but it's a big question whether he can produce it now that O'Sullivan took away his cushion.
