Deserved Prize Money for winner?
What are your thoughts on the £150,000 on offer for the winner of the Masters? The UK Champion receives only £100,000 by comparison, so surely each figure should be for the other tournament?

The Masters is in London, so they deserve a City wage!
On a serious note, the masters winner plays less matches so they probably should get less money.... -
UK winner deserves a lot more, so, a swap of the prize moneys would be good

The UK should definitely be more prize money as it's longer frame matches and more of them to get to the final. Sure The Masters is a prestigious and historic tournament and deserves it's place in the snooker calendar, but IMO The UK is far more important as it's a ranking tournament, rather than an invitation tournament for the top 16.
No way should it be Fifty Grand more for the Masters winner, but maybe that's partly skewed by the sponsorship received by WS for the Masters as opposed to the UK Champs?Comment
