Carter looks a bit lost unless he's in the balls. Ebdon did well.

      Come On Ali!!!:snooker:
No I wish I had stayed up and maybe it would have been a different result

Oh well! All he managed to do is ruin 1/3 of our fantasy team

i am, in fact, a fan of peter ebdon. (out of admiration though)
in terms of mental, psychological, and physical discipline, i can't find any player be better than peter.

i was reading that he still swims like 2 miles a day for fitness and reads books about self-confidence to boost himself. being his opponent, you will die slowly. his patience is incredible and he will wear you down.

its kinda like my admiration for batman. i hate superman because hes got it all. bruce wayne is a mere mortal but achieved so much through personal, human strength.

peter ebdon to me is like that. he's a world champ for a reason. a true die hard spirit.
Yeah, he's quite admirable in that regard and amazingly he just manages to practise that extra bit hard for the big tournaments! I like the superman/batman example (though I prefer spiderman)

Well done, Ebdon! I got my prediction right on this one, even the correct scoreline. Sadly, I couldn't watch the whole match. Had to retire to bed after the sixth frame.

          You and me both.

Good win for Ebdon and at times he looked dangerous. Though in saying that, Carter played well below par, and at times appeared not to be fully focused..

I'm sorry I couldn't see the ending of this match last night, but I did watch the last three frames this morning. What a scrap it was, well done Ebdon. It's a good thing he doesn't have to play again for a couple of days.

His awesome long red and then following up with two excellent snookers deserved the victory.. Cool job, The Force

Well that foul in 2nd Frame proved to be disastrous and fatal.

Ebdon was pretty much all the time a step ahead and managed to hold on and scrap it out in the end. Either way Ebdon played better than expected so lets see what happens.

I went to bed towards the end of the 5th frame too, so it's not all your fault

Bluming Ali If he hadn't touched that yellow in the second frame he may have won

you can't beat the run of the balls and ali got none of it.
