Well, as I said in the match-by-match thread, I think Carter is a strong favourite here. He has a very good record against Ebdon, including that 6-0 thrashing two years ago, which was one of the most impressive performances I can remember.

It seems like Ebdon only plays well once or twice a season these days, and the Masters has never been a favourite of his.

But we've already had a big surprise today, so who knows...

It's looking like I was wrong again. Ebdon certainly looks up for it. He's missing from distance, but not bad at all at short range.

Carter might regret that foul when he touched the yellow.
