I didn't really mind who won either, I was just hoping to be able to watch a re-run of the match, something tells me not to bother now
    No, you shouldn't bother!

But look at the bright side, it was a good call not to pick Ronnie, Mark J. or selby for the fantasy team :snooker:

O'sullivan, Higgins and Williams turned professional in 1992. They are all happen to be the same age too. And they all lost 6-4 in the first round of The Masters. It's a worthless correlation I felt like saying. I'm going to stop talking about them three or comparing them now.

Some of the big favourites are out of the tournment already. This gives way for some of my other favourite players to win it. Ding or Allen all the way!!

Oh it must have been horrible for you to watch

Looks like it's a silent witness instead

Yeah You chose wisely (Although we could still lose all our players in the first round! )

Ah I see, with you now. Yeah, that's a bit of a weird coincidence isn't it. Anyway, as you say, makes way for some new fingerprints on the trophy, unless Hendry pulls a blinder (or two). Either way it's all bubbling up nicely for something a little different this year.

Ronnie is so bloody frustrating. Stupid shot selections, awful misses, little effort especially with the snookers...he just doesn't care anymore.

I've been saying since late 2008 that I don't think he'll be at the top of the game in 2 or 3 years time. Looks like he's going that way.

I'm Ronnie's biggest fan, but I really hope he plays Higgins soon and get's destroyed. It might give him a kick up the backside.

No, Ali ruined the fantasy team already!!!

I felt like I wasted two hours watching telly so I agree with you, it must have been extremely annoying for those paying good money at the venue!!!

I don't mind him playing good and not winning like he's done on many occasions. All I wanted to see was one of his sublime breaks but no, I was denied even that!!!

yeah losing when playing good is ok, but it's in the manor he loses frames/games. he should of not bothered turning up just like in the player championship tourneys.

if he was missing under pressure it would of been another matter, but he was just missing in general and his shot choice was shocking, who in there right mind would play a shot you can't see and need to bend it, instead of playing a straight pot into the left pocket??? quite a few instances where the wrong shots was played.

Couldn't agree more... Crazy playing a swerve when easy alternative... Ronnie wasn't there today just like in the UK the other week. Made a mid-match effort for a comeback and then threw all that hard work away with that stupid yellow. It's a shame cos we all know he's better than that - a lot better. So frustrating. Would rather see Jimmy trying - at least he gives it his all, win or lose...

i can think of no other player in the game that is as foulish with shot selections, other than quinten hann, but he was never no1 in the world.

A very disappointing match. Allen shouldn't be pleased with his performance. A number of players would have knocked him out today, saving the "ready to win a tournament" nonsense for when it's deserved. He beat a disinterested Ronnie, who was only that way because he was facing someone he didn't respect. He played better at the WC when he beat Ronnie, but even that wasn't a breakthrough performance of any kind. Today Ronnie claimed that Allen played "really well." He was having a laugh. I wish Mark King was playing him in the next round

at 4-4, after ronnie potted that amazing long red, i quickly went to the wembly website to book myself tickets for the next match and the final.....just when i was about to put my card details, mark won 5-4.

                              argh.
