Yeah, but same old same old when it comes to the BBCs attitude toward their snooker coverage.

You should've heard the guy I spoke to when I complained, he was absolutely astonished that I expected the BBC to honour it's published shedule. Ha-ho.

on t ewebsite it does state some red button stuff wont be available on freeview which i guess is thier get out excuse for crap coverage

worse than not showing the start, leaving the coverage on BBC2 for bloody pointless????

And for tonights second match, the beeb coverage is starting at 8.20 because of Dads' Army and a tribute program.

Why do they do this to live events, will have to wait and see if it on the red button on freeview but it's not on the planner its the national lottery which is a bit like trying to watch snooker on the bbc.

You may well have to pay more for Sky than the BBC but at least when Sky cover sports they do it properly.

Unfortunately I don't have the option NOT to subscribe to the BBC. I bet Sky wish it was against the law NOT to subscribe to Sky!!

according to the schedule on 301 its not going to be on there either if the frames go quickly a 6 nil with centurys in each bbc will start coverage after the match is over

In a funny way, it is. SKY wouldn't have half their subscribers, if they couldn't get the BBC channels, which we are forced to fund, so by proxy, we are forced by law to fund the lovely Mr. Mudroch and his empire.

No, only to snookr mate, they wouldn't do this with tennis, golf, F1, or anything else for that matter. As to why, well that's a different topic altogether, probably for a different forum altogether!
