If Fu plays the way he did up to 5-1, I think he has a good chance against Ebdon. But you never know with him.
Judging on Fu's performance this evening and the way Ebdon played against Carter, I think it could be a tight match to call, and could very well go the full 11 frames..

Fu struggled over the line at last. I thought by 5-1 allready about other watchable programms to switch over BTW why is every match ending 6-4 this year?
They have all agreed to share the winning pot in advance... Learning is quick these days. They can't ban them all can they?

Good to see Fu back in form. Hope he wins another title before he ends his career. Having one ranking tournament next to his name doesn't do him justice.

I wouldn't describe that performance as particularly good form. A couple of good centuries early on, but he really struggled to get over the line against an equally out of sorts Maguire.
He's up against Peter Ebdon next on Friday night, so he'll have to play a lot more positively, because if there's one player who can grind out a result against a player low on confidence, it's 'The Force'.
So, if Marco plays like that on Friday, then I think we're in for a long grueling and intriguing battle.

The fast and the furious,
The slow and labourious,
All of us, glorious parts of the whole!
I started to watch the match then turned over as it was worse than proverbial paint drying....when I tuned back in MaGuire was a completely different player, more natural, more relaxed and very quickly on his way to the highest break. I saw him as a kid and this is his real game.....i just wonder if the influence of Mr Griffiths has done more harm than good in the long term. just my oppinion!
