  • Cope and Allen Bringing Up Century

does anyone think Jamie Cope or Mark Allen (Both on 97 centuries) will bring up 100 in the masters and if so who I think Cope might as Allen is playing quite badly so far

Well I can't really see Cope getting past Murphy this evening, so I'd have to give Allen the better chance, although he'll need to get a better hold of the cueball than he had against ROS.

      Cope

he doesnt have to get past murphy just 3 of the possible 5 frames if losing have to be centuries

I can tell you where hendry is not playing well, when you have one dominant skill ie hendrys breakbuilding and its going wrong you wont win many matches

hendrys made 2 centuries this season thats so unhendrylike

With 6 frames in each match, they´ll probably need to go to the final to have a chance to reach 100.

Unless they get into the zone in one of their games, they will have difficulty in hitting the mark in Masters..
Jamie Cope will need to get past Shaun Murphy, but it's safe to say that he will have at least one, perhaps two centuries at the end of a victorius match, considering his playing style. He won't be getting through with messy frames. And when he gets going, he usually goes on to hit the century.
As for Mark Allen, he didn't look sharp against Ronnie O'Sullivan, so, he will need to improve in his next match and if he doesn't, he can be sent packing in the quarter finals.
If this was a poll, I would vote for none at Masters. Picking up between the two, however, I will go with Jamie.
          All the way Mark J!!

I think Cope will hit 100 Especially if he gets Past Murphy, But cannot see Allen doing it unless he gets to the latter stages of this tourny as he isn't playing well at all.

The way they are both playing wont be this tournament they players in the 90s who play next after this tournament excluding this shoot out are Nigel Bond and Joe Swail both past their best Cope in Germn masters has a tough draw against joe perry Allen faces a wildcard i think hes lined up to play joe swail

one little tip Amthony mcGill wont be a walk over for Mark J Williams hes a very good young player and exceptional break builder hes made a lot of centuries in his debut season

infact hes already up to the 50s in the rankings

one thing I am surprised about is Zhang Anda not pushing on from his good showing in the world championships

Either I'm a horrendous prophet, or the thing is that Shaun Murphy did his best to prove me wrong

                    No more guesses

Murphy is blessing his cotton socks that this wasnt a ranking event

even though the masters is prestigious it doesnt ruin your ranking to lose in it

non ranking events have that as a saving grace
