Anyway, I hope whoever wins this event is not named Murphy. His WC title was the greatest snooker fluke of all times, and then he fluked in a UK title, now if he ever flukes this in, too, this is going to be the most ridiculous thing that has ever happened to snooker. So, come on, all of the remaining players, for the sake of God!

Next you'll claim that he fluked a good break off.

Yes I rember that final very well, Murphy consistantly fluked frame winning break after frame winning break, all with the aid of some fantastic flukey potting and tactical play. How lucky can you get.

That's my prediction down the drain. Looks as if its only a matter of time till Robertson takes the frame he needs to go through..

M.J. lost...so lets try a little bit of Murphy bashing...who knows maybe some folks will agree and we will have a discussion....

At least, my point was correctly understood. Thanks

Anyway, could Hendry keep 6-4 scorelines going

He didn´t fluke much in that tournament, but obvious meeting Stevens was as good as meeting Jimmy White in a WC final.

Another pretty entertaining match. Robertson played quite well, but I think he might have been in trouble against someone like Dott today.

He is going to be the only really big favourite in the QF, and it looks like Ding and Murphy might be his biggest opposition. Although, I would say that Dott and King have probably played the best snooker so far.

This is the sole reason I hate Shaun Murphy. He stopped Matthew Stevens from winning the world title, and did so, without doing anything else in his entire career before, I mean, out of nowhere.

Don't get me wrong, I love Shaun Murphy, as much as a Jimmy White fan loves Stephen Hendry.

Anyway,I apologize for pushing the topic out of subject so much.
Back on the match, well, Hendry played better than he did in the matches I got the chance to watch this season, but it wasn't enough.
Robertson wasn't quite lethal when amongst the balls, at least as much as he could be, but he did the damage with some awesome long pots and calm breaks.

Robertson played alright today but anyone else in the top 16 or 32, could well have beaten him. Hendry's safety play was embarrassing.

After his win Robertson launched a stinging attack on the modern-day Hendry, saying: "He didn't put me away and he should have been up 3-1.

"He doesn't have the same aura as he used to. It's like watching a completely different player - technically he has a lot of flaws."

Looking ahead to his match with the talented Allen, he added: "He's a great player and it will be tough. If I make a few improvements I think I will get through."

Hendry said in the post match conference that he has made six centuries in a row in practice.
Sad to see him failing to transform practice form into match form, which was MJW's case, back a couple seasons ago.
