Good performance from Ding, he remains the favourite in the top half of the draw. Dott couldn't quite repeat his performance against Higgins today, the difficult shots just weren't going in. And those three centuries certainly put the pressure on him right from the start.
Tonight's match should be quite interesting as well.
OH NO! They're showing Murphy v Cope again
Quick, get the kids somewhere safe!

I'm still laughing at this
Well played, Ding. But he still looks vulnerable at times, just he was in the first round. His potting is there, break building is there, but he was very unsuccessful in the safety department. So, if someone comes out and pull him into a tactical battle, he could well be in trouble.
All the way Mark J!!

Yes, and I was very surprised that Graeme didn't try to draw him out into more of a tactical game, I think doing so might have won him a frame or two.

The fast and the furious,
The slow and labourious,
All of us, glorious parts of the whole!
Also, neither Mark King nor Jamie Cope belong to the class that could use this weakness for their own advantages.
Ding has a great chance to win it all from now on, I would say..

Well, Graeme will be first to admit he did not play that well I watched the game in full and although Ding was a well deserved winner Graeme had absolutely no run of the ball and I dont care what anyone says you need a little, even at this level. How he finished touching after splitting the pack is just one example of how little he actually got. But as I say, well played to Ding

You're probably right there, so yes he has a good chance now, but he may have to face the world champion before he can get his hands on that beautiful trophy, and I don't think Robbo will give him such an easy ride as Dotty did today.

Robertson will first need to get past Allen, whom he declared as an 'easy' opponent after his first round win..
I expect Allen to reply to those comments, which weren't too offensive, but definitely not nice for himself, with his game, of course
All the way Mark J!!
