  • Best way get to the event?

We're coming in from Belgium, Sunday afternoon. Going to see the final.
It's our first time, what would be the best way to get to the Wembley Arena? We arrive by Eurostar, our hotel is somewhere in Victoria. I have no idea yet what kind of itinerary we should be preparing for.
    Thanks for any tips,

    Hi Maaten,

I take it you must be coming into St Panrcas International.....??

If so, and you want to go down to your Hotel first you can go on the underground and take the Victoria line which will take down to Victoria where your Hotel is.

Then to get to Wembley arena go back on the Victoria line to Oxford Circus pick up the northbound Bakerloo line from there to Wembley Central then follow the directions to the arena once you come out of the station......

    I hope this helps.....

The most convenient station for the Arena is Wembley Stadium Station, that's on the mainline not the underground and it takes only 9 minutes on some services from Marylebone in central London.

So that would be my tip.

Other than that, Wembley Park is the closest Underground station, which is served by Jubilee and Metropolitan underground lines.

A day ticket valid on all London trains, underground and buses shouldn't be more than about £7 so if you do get lost it won't cost you anything to correct your journey!

If you want to see "the sights" above ground, you can also get the bus out to Wembley, but I can't remember which number bus it is!

Thanks for the directions people. I think I'll take the mainline although i'll have to see since we're new to London transport.
Any chance someone could give us a lift back to town? I fear it might be a bit late to take public transport back..
