What can you say? Fu makes a 136 to level the match. That's 130, 97 and 136 in the last three frames. He looks as fluent as an in-form O'Sullivan at the moment.
They showed the pot successes at the start of that break, Allen was on 91%, while Fu was on 95%. I suppose it must have gone another percent or two up now.
A very interesting conclusion on the colours. I think it was that pot on the last red from Fu that won him this frame, Allen couldn't really recover from that position.
But from Allen's point of view, at least Fu's scoring rhythm has been broken now.
I can't believe Fu missed that easy red in the last frame. But luckily for him, Allen's game fell apart completely. I suppose it was those three big breaks that threw him off.
The middle part of that match was probably the best Fu has played since the 2008 UK Championship. If he brings some of that game to the final, I think he has a chance.
I didn't watch the whole match and I had no favorite but Fu seemed to be on form on the way to the semi and coming back from 4 - 1 down with high breaks speaks for itself I think, same as Allen's losing 5 consecutive frames does.
Having got over the shock of previous match results, I'm beginning to think the final may be worth watching after all!
