Great match to watch this one. Marco Fu was the only player who showed some class throughout the tournament, and deserved to be in the final. Strange tournament this one, cause most of the players were very nervous, even though there is no pressure for ranking points in this sort of tournaments. Usually The Masters brings the best out of players, but this year, it brought the worse from them, excluding Fu and maybe Ding.

Ok. Fu into final. Now there is a great chance of Ding v Fu final; And the higher seed out stuff continues really as Fu yesterday kocked out Ebdon, today Allen; Allen knocked out Robertson; ok Ding vs Cope. I dont expect surprises there, but lets wait and see what happens

Fu also leading the amount of centuries made this week, so he`s scoring solidly...Anyway a good fightback from 4-1 down to win 6-4

his head to head record between Mark Allen is

        Mark Allen 5 wins
        Marco Fu 4 wins

includes meetings in PTC, EPTC and championship league evnts

in which the BBC don't include in the players head to heads I wonder why that is
Ronnie O' Sullivan seven times the record breaking Snooker Master

          that last pink

The last shot of the game where Marco Fu pots the pink into the corner. The pink hit the cushion about 10 inches from the pocket and still went in! There's no way thatw ould have gone in on a club table. Anyone that tells me the pro tables are harder, I do not believe.

What a great semi. I didn't think Marco had it in him to come back from 4 - 1 down today, how wrong I was! Tough for Mark though, he played really well until that kick, but he'll be back.

Thanks for a very entertaining afternoon lads.

yeah reminded me of american pool tables, you can hit the ball near the middle cushion at it will still go in the corner.

you can hit the cushion on a along the cushio shot it depends on the angle you hit it

pro pockets are smaller remember apart from fu these are the top 16 players in the world (Fu isnt currently in the top 16)

Take a look at this quote from another thread, bearing in mind the fact that the table's just been recovered:

I thought Allen had it wrapped it at 4-1, I stopped watching at this point as had to go out. Think Ding might win tonights match.

But surely, if the ball goes in, then by definition it does make the pocket easier!
Oh, and that's a bad miss.

I missed the end of the match, cos had to get something done and was absolutely stunned when found that Fu had won. When I left, it looked as though Allen had got it sown up.

Well done Marco Fu. The best I have seen him play. Never really thought he had it in him.
