For the time being things seem rather one sided in the final. Would love to see a comeback from Fu and a tighter match.

Well he did it against Mark Allen, so you never know.

Hopefully later tonight Fu will make his comeback. Right now it looks like Ding has it in the pocket though.

Same odds as when Paul Hunter trailed O'Sullivan 2-6 in the final of the 2004 Masters..

Well, we've seen in the past that Ding can be vulnerable in second sessions. He lost the final of the Wuxi Classic this season from being 8-2 up. In the China Open last season he was nowhere to be seen in the second session, even though he looked like the stronger player in the first one. And also, I think he lost all the frames against Robertson in the second session of the Grand Prix final. I guess his physical fitness could be a weakness, or maybe he sometimes can't hold his concentration for that long.

But there is no doubt he has looked much better than Fu so far. Fu missed quite a few easy balls, and didn't pot too many tricky ones either. You need to play better to win the Masters. But we've seen how quickly he can win a couple of frames in one visit. He will be looking for at least three out of the first four tonight.

There is an interesting pattern for the Masters final in the last 14 years. It has either been very one-sided (10-3 on three occasions, and 10-4 once), or very close (10-9 six times, and 10-8 four times). Which way will it go tonight?

10 out of 14, at least 18 out of possible 19 frames played, then..Expectable for a big tournament, although still a massive percentage here we have..
I think Ding will complete the victory soon, 10-3 is my guess.

Wembley crowd really have no clue about cheering for a player..
They are just backing the player that fell behind, to watch more snooker.

Really weird that Ronnie loves the athmosphere here, considering the crowd bloodily rooted for Selby in his comebacks against him.
                              All the way Mark J!!
