Anyone noticed that Trump never taps the table whenever his opponent has made a great shot or recovery out of a snooker? I have not seen him do that once...ever! It was the first sign for me that indicated he is a bit too self-absorbed, and has too little respect for his opponent and snooker as a whole in general. I mean, *everybody* does it, it is part of snooker...why should he be different? Of course he is not obligated to do it, but it is part of the game and considered good sportsmanship...which I like about this game.
Through following a lot of players on twitter, I bumped into Judds mate online last night (the onethat was at the venue) and if his aggressive tweets were anything to go by, then yes very out of order...
As someone once told me you can tell a lot about a person by the company they keep around them and TBH that doesn't reflect well on Trump at all.
And daffie I completely agree, he has never shown any respect to players or acknowledges a good shot, I've never seen him tap the table in appreciation ever.
typical modern english yobs (incl. trump himself) - a reflection of the gradual decline in culture, sportsmanship and gentleman's etiquette after the sun set on the british empire many years ago.
I mentioned this in Last thread beginning of the Week!
What it is Trump "THINKS" hes BETTER than anybody else where the TRUTH is he Isnt by a Long Way! He was very Lucky against Ronnie and if Ronnie was 75% that Match Trump would have been Hammerd.
His Cocky way and Idiots he goes around with wont help him in Long Run Not in Snooker Anyway! You dont act like Kids and Shout for White to go in etc thats Very Unsporting.
Good Job it wasnt me Playing Trump I would have Dragged them out of the Venue by the Scruff.
