Anyone know why the Master is not a ranking tournament, while it looks very important, i.e. covered by BBC?

because it's an invitation event, and not all players on the tour gets to play masters

Stevens played very well I thought, shame abotu jimmy I would have liked to see him get a bit further in this tournament but wanted matthew to win shame they had to meet in this round.
