Stevens did not play well. He is meeting an unpredictable Hendry. Could even go to the semis, but thats all!

i didnt think either played well

think jimmy was out of sorts as he played well in the PL matches in the last few months.

was a tough draw for Jimmy, as mathew is better han his rank suggests.

Think Stevens/Hendry could be a 6-5 either way. Usually very tight between these 2.

Which matches have members of the forum gone to watch? I like to look out for them when they show the audience
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

                1800 GMT

Shaun Murphy (Eng) v Steve Davis (Eng)

So... what do you think? This will be a match featuring two different playing styles. The attacking and the safe player. I think Murphy hasn't played very well this season overall, and if Steve can get the right start and get the match where he wants it he has a good chance of winning. Would love to see him meet Hendry in the quarters.

Murphy has won their two meeting, including a 13-7, though Davis has shown more form recently IMHO.

                  i hope steve wins.

Murphy seems out of sorts and Davis could grind him down. toss of a coin.

Steve has not played anywhere near his best and has missed quite a few easy balls. This has allowed Murphy to go 5-1 up with ease, despite missing a number of balls himself and losing position etc.

The quality of the snooker is not very high in this match.

Interactive broke down over here. It worked first but right now when funking Eurosport shows the interesting Dakar thing it doesn't.
Anyone here willing to give me updates on the match?

Same here. Yesterday I watched sveral hours on high quality, but now when I really need it, the bloody link is gone and no proxy seems to work.

Guess I'll close the comp and wait till 21:45...

Steve Davis isn't playing well at all ! A lot of mistakes, no break building and poor
safety ! But we still want him to win don't we !
I saw that going differently in my mind
