The results have been included on the rankings on the Global Snooker Centre site, as it stands right now, White stands at provisionally 59.

As you say, it looks pretty dire. Although, he has dropped only a few places to his current provisional (from his official), so I think the situation is still salvageable – just. But I think (without having done any mathematics) he cannot afford to fall at the first hurdle in the remaining two events.
If White loses his next two qualifying matches, he'll end the season with 10725 points (4275 points on the 1-year list). Then he's not certain to lose his place on the main tour, but it all depends on the results of the China Open and World Championship qualifyers.

Anyone else had him at their club, or still waiting?
I agree with Paul about his approach, but I'd really like to see him relax a bit as well, although this is obviously easier said than done.
If he doesn't change something, it's not looking good for his place on the tour!
He played in a pro-am at my club a few years back. Needless to say, he won it with ease. Everyone flocked around the table when he was playing, I remember one guy, an amatuer, just could'nt play, he was a bag of nerves

Jimmy made it look so easy, simple when there's no pressure eh.

            Cheers Nugget

Hope you get to play him, I was gutted I never got drawn against him in the pro-am. Much rather have went out to Jimmy, instead I got beat by big baldy Euan Henderson

Was'nt all doom and gloom tho, got a frame with Jimmy that night. He was up for the wknd and did an exhibiton on the sat night with McCulloch. Ian was in the pro am too, but not for long

just seen that-there are only 6 players below him still in the two tournamants he has been knocked out of & they would all have to win at least one more match to put hime 65th (unlikely) !!so he will probably still be in the top 64 come the china & world qualifiers but he will certainly have to win at least one match-preferably in the world qualifiers to stay in !!!

But there are 40 odd players below him that can still qualify for the China open and the WC, and if Jimmy doesn't, then he is out of the top 64 and out of the main league.

I'd like to see Jimmy keep fighting even if he goes off the tour - he has implied he'll do exactly that so here's hoping. His problem is focus - he never seems to concentrate, and even with this tournament he was doing promotional visits for the masters, doing his tour of rileys clubs and various other engagements here and there. He should be dropping all these engagements until his form recovers because if he drops out of the tour I can't see anyone being too interested in giving him promotional jobs!

I saw a headline yesterday which said 'White to seek Ebdon's help with focus' and my heart leapt - he's actually going to acknowledge the problem and ask one of his fellow players for help! Then I read the article and it turns out Jimmy simply made an offhand remark 'perhaps I should ask Peter Ebdon for lessons in focus'.

When I saw he and Hunter in an exhibition at sports cafe ahead of his jimmy brown gimmick at the masters 2 years or so ago, he barely potted a ball and both players seemed like they had other places they'd rather be - turned out Hunter was going on holiday that afternoon, but Jimmy was going off to use his mobile, joking with his mates/manager/whoever it was and generally not concentrating. Never been so disappointed, since I came down from Yorkshire specifically to watch and meet him. I couldn't face asking him for an autograph on his book - I didn't want to do any more damage to the previously intact image of my idol.

just one thing about all this Jimmy talk though-there doesnt seem to be as much talk this season as yet about the annual top 16-top 32 battle

seems like we are all preoccupied with a certain player battling to stay on the main tour !!!!

hope he does but sadly if not he wont be the first great player to slip out !!!

No, but he will be the most talented player ever to slip out
