slow start, with an easy miss from GD.

SL is now in and on a break of 55

he leads 72-9 with 2 reds left and is certain to win the frame.

      1-0 to Lee.

Online or TV? I can't get on online at the moment, it gives me a realmedia error. I don't have a TV here to try it with though.

            Updates are appreciated Semih

The referee for this match is Michaela Tabb

GD breaks off, using the 2 cushion break off - white on baulk cushion.
SL misses a long pot by 8 inches
GD - pots a red to left corner, then green to green pocket.
GD - pots red to right middle, then straight pink to left corner
GD - pots red to right corner, then black to left corner

picking off easy pots around the business end. 35-0 so far....

GD - pots red to LC with the rest, then BLK to same pocket

              43-0

red to RC, but not good on the BLK.
pots the BLK to LC, but not good position

              51-0.................8 reds left

GD - plays safe off a red, white in GRN section of BAULK.
SL plays a good safety, white back in the D
GD looks flummoxed. Michaela looks TASTY.

              GD - fouls trying a 2 cushion "escape" 51-4
              GD - ditto......................................51-8
GD - has a lash at the reds, misses. leaves SL in...

Tabb nicely compensates then for the lack of good looks of the two players. ;-)

it's a pity that online coverage on the BBC website is only available to the UK users

I always predict Lee to win and he never does, this time I predicted a loss
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

                              Slow start to frame 3

Lee then gets in and takes a 31-0 lead, but in doing so pots the blue to RM and goes into the pack and runs out of position.

                              SL - plays safe
                              ...............
SL misses a red, leaves GD in

GD on 7, pots the BLK
GD pots a red, on the blue

                              GD misses the pack opener

                              GD plays safe

                              Lee leads 31-20
